Glen Meade Extension is a single-family home subdivision in Wilmington, NC, governed by a Declaration of Restrictive and Protective Covenants. These rules apply to Lots 1-15 and 36-40 of Phase 2 and bind all current and future owners.
- Land use & building type: Only one single-family detached dwelling per lot. No mobile homes, manufactured homes, prefabricated homes, or modular homes. Outbuildings must be incidental to residential use.
- Minimum dwelling size: Each home must have at least 2,000 square feet of heated living area, excluding porches, garages, decks, terraces, or patios.

- Parking & vehicles: No overnight parking on streets. Each lot must provide off-street parking for at least two cars. No trucks, buses, vans, or commercial vehicles over one ton; no wrecked or unregistered vehicles. Trailers, campers, boats, and recreational vehicles must be screened from view.
- Pets & livestock: No livestock or poultry. Dogs, cats, or other household pets are allowed but not for commercial breeding or maintenance.
- Fences & signs: No wire, chain-link, or metal fences. Wood, brick, or stucco fences are allowed but must be behind the rear line of the dwelling. One sign of up to 10 square feet for sale or rent is permitted.
- Architectural review: All building, fence, wall, or other structures, as well as grading or site alterations, require prior written approval from the Developer (or its delegate). Approval may be based on any ground, including aesthetics, in the Developer's sole discretion.
