Village Square Townhomes is a townhome community in Wilmington, NC, governed by a homeowners association (HOA). You own your lot and townhome, and the HOA maintains common areas and provides exterior maintenance (excluding glass). The rules apply to all owners, tenants, and occupants.
- What you own & maintain: You own your lot and townhome. The HOA handles exterior maintenance (roofs, gutters, paint, decks, landscaping) but not glass surfaces. If damage is caused by you or your guests, you pay the cost.
- Architectural review: Any exterior changes (buildings, fences, paint color, landscaping) must be approved in writing by the HOA Board or an architectural committee. If no decision within 30 days of submission, approval is deemed given.
