About HOAs in Wisconsin
Wisconsin community associations are governed by the Wisconsin Condominium Ownership Act (Wis. Stat. Chapter 703) for condominiums and by general nonprofit corporation law for HOAs. The Condominium Act sets requirements for the declaration, bylaws, unit-owner meetings, board elections, and access to records. Each Wisconsin association also adopts its own rules and amendments. HOAproxy collects those documents and makes the full text searchable so unit owners and homeowners across Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, and the rest of Wisconsin can find the provisions that actually govern a property.
