• Approved roofing materials: Acceptable materials are: (A) #1 grade wood shakes, minimum 1/2" butt thickness; (B) #1 or #2 grade wood shingles, minimum 3/8" butt thickness; (C) laminated composition shingles in weathered wood color, U.L. Class A fire rated, minimum 50-year warranty (lifetime preferred), installed per manufacturer specs. Tile, slate, concrete, and clay are reviewed case-by-case.
