HOAproxy provides an informational platform for HOA members to:

• Search HOA documents and governing materials
• Generate proxy voting form templates
• Coordinate proxy assignments with other members
• Track HOA meeting participation

The Service is an informational tool only. Proxy forms generated are templates and do not constitute legal advice.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Verifying compliance of any proxy form with your HOA's governing documents and applicable state law
• The accuracy of membership claims and HOA information you submit
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account

4. Informational Nature of the Service

HOAproxy does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice. All content, including legal summaries and proxy form templates, is provided "as is" for informational purposes only. We make no representations about the accuracy or completeness of any legal information presented.

7. Acceptable Use; No Scraping or Bulk Extraction

You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:

• Use any automated means (including bots, crawlers, scrapers, or headless browsers) to access, extract, copy, mirror, index, harvest, or aggregate content from the Service, except as expressly permitted by our robots.txt for compliant search-engine indexing.
• Bulk-download or systematically retrieve any portion of the Service’s data, document corpus, search results, generated answers, embeddings, listings, maps, or proxy templates.
• Reproduce, distribute, sublicense, or display any portion of the Service or its compiled dataset for use in a competing service, in training data for any machine-learning or AI model, or in any commercial offering, without our prior written permission.
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security, rate-limiting, authentication, or access-control features of the Service.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive the source code, models, or compilation methodology of the Service.

The HOA documents themselves may include public records that are independently available from county clerks and other public sources. Our compilation, organization, indexing, search results, generated summaries, and software constitute our copyrighted and proprietary work and may not be appropriated wholesale, regardless of the public-record nature of any underlying source documents.

We may, at any time and without notice, terminate, throttle, or block access for any user or IP that we believe in good faith is in violation of this Section 7.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOAPROXY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
