About HOAs in Oregon

Oregon community associations are governed by the Oregon Planned Community Act (ORS Chapter 94) for HOAs and the Oregon Condominium Act (ORS Chapter 100) for condominiums. Both statutes require associations to record their declarations and bylaws and give owners rights to inspect records, attend board meetings, vote in elections, and assign proxies. Each Oregon association also adopts its own rules and amendments — HOAproxy collects those documents and makes the full text searchable, so owners can find the provisions that actually govern a property in Portland, Bend, Eugene, or anywhere else in the state.
