About HOAs in New Hampshire
New Hampshire community associations are governed by the New Hampshire Condominium Act (N.H. RSA Chapter 356-B) for condominiums and by general nonprofit corporation law for HOAs and homeowner associations. The Condominium Act sets requirements for the declaration, bylaws, unit-owner meetings, board elections, and access to records. Each New Hampshire association also adopts its own rules and amendments.
